4pm EST Gifting Pride Gayla Begins

11am-4pm EST Coming Out Day Songwriters Concert

October 11

We're going LIVE and Coming OUT on October 11, 2020!

As a lead up to the big GAYLA we will stream performances from members of our Songwriters Collective from our virtual red carpet between 11am and 4pm EST (8am-1pm PST/4pm-9pm UK). Look for ways to support each individual artist as they arrive on the carpet!

Then, adorn yourself in your finest clothes or comfiest pjs and join us for Gifting Pride's own Coming Out Day GAYLA: complete with an intersectionally-forward speaker (Kimberly Banks-Brown), a Q&A with Kimberly and GiftingPride, live counseling support for those struggling this Coming Out Day, an ASL interpreter, TRIVIA (prizes!!), and LGBTQIA+ themed recipes for cocktails and mocktails! Mark your calendars and mark "Interested" or "Going" on the Facebook Event to receive notifications as we update details!

Thanks to our sponsors, Denk Studios, I Need Space, and Waxsimile Productions!

*Unless otherwise requested, 90% of proceeds with go towards a selection of LGBTQIA+ nonprofits.

If you're hoping to see a specific Songwriter at Sunday's Red Carpet Concert, here's the schedule of artists! (All times ET/PT/UK)

Kimberly Banks-Brown is a perennial student in the Human Services Profession. She possesses a passion for teaching, equipping, and empowering individuals to broader horizons, and to live more fully into their higher selves. After earning a BA in Music, an MBA with an emphasis on Human Resource Management, a Master of Divinity, and another MA in Leadership in Teaching, Kimberly is certain that the truest, most lasting transformation occurs

Kimberly Banks-Brown

in community. She currently fills her time teaching elementary students, sojourning with folks who seek to deepen their capacity for awe, and working with voice students from time to time. As a musically inclined, cis-gendered human, who identifies as polyamorous and pansexual, she is especially delighted to be a part of Gifting Pride's "Coming Out" GAYLA! The following quote is one of her most recent contemplations.

“When truth is buried it grows, it chokes, it gathers such an explosive force that on the day it bursts out, it blows up everything with it.” -  Émile Zola
