Logan Flanagan

They/Them

Logan Flanagan was born in Alaska but spent most of their life in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. Logan’s family introduced them to musical performance at a young age, enrolling them in piano lessons at age 6. Logan continued to play piano all the way through college, picking up a few other instruments along the way. Logan graduated from Appalachian State University in May 2019, earning a B.S. in Music Industry Studies with a Recording and Production concentration. They currently work as an audio engineer and performer in Nashville, Tennessee.

Logan began writing songs casually as far back as elementary school but did not begin approaching songwriting as a serious pursuit until their late teenage years. With influences spanning all genres, Logan appreciates the catharsis of processing personal experiences and emotions in their writing but also enjoys telling stories through song. You can find Logan’s most current musical pursuits under the pseudonym OK Koala on most online music platforms and social media sites.

"Logan wrote about our relationship with a perception that we both agree with, which is difficult to do from the outside looking in. The incorporation of moments of our life. It didn’t feel generic or like every other love song we’ve heard. It was original."

"Logan wrote about our relationship with a perception that we both agree with, which is difficult to do from the outside looking in. It created a very special moment and a song that we will treasure for a very long time. We greatly appreciate Logan’s work, and we would highly recommend working with Logan on your next project at Gifting Pride!"
